Writing the College Application Essays
Students will learn to:
- Brainstorm and develop impactful college application essays, including Personal Statement Essays (AKA Common App Essay, College Essay), UC PIQ Essays, and Supplemental Essays
Developing the Activities List/Resume
Students will learn to:
- Identify the activities that best showcase their strengths, passion, and commitment
- Rank the activities on their lists in order of importance
- Properly describe each activity for maximum effect
Preparing for Letters of Recommendation
Students will learn to:
- Develop a list of potential recommenders who will help enrich their application
- Compile a bio that will assist recommenders in writing meaningful letters of recommendation
Collaborating and Getting Answers
- Real-time answers to any questions you may have about your college essay writing journey
